SUMMER CAMP THROUGH CHURCH....AUGUST 2011

Our church had a summer camp for children ages 5 and up this year. While Davis and Diana were not old enough to attend, we did go and watch the play, dance, and various performances that the students put together during their week at camp. Tasha and Michele helped with the camp so we wanted to go and support them too!

Here are the kids with a boy that was in the church play with Davis and Michael this past spring...

Below is the dance the children put together in only 4 days - many of them have never danced prior to this. They did GREAT!!! D&d had their eyes glued to the stage the entire time. So fun!

SAVE TINKER BELL!!....8/10/11

This past summer was wonderful. Davis and Diana at ages 3 and 4 really enjoyed playing together and I loved watching them enjoy their time together. They both have equally vivid imaginations so it was fun to watch all the games they made up. While they had two days per week where they attended a structured summer camp, the other 3 days of the week were spent playing, creating, and being kids. Best of both worlds in my opinion!

Even though Davis is afraid he swims out to get her. Diana is cheering him on the whole time and informing him how close the sharks are...

Did I mention how glad I am that these two enjoy playing together?

GOLD BELT TESTING - JULY 2011

Davis tested for and received his gold belt in July. He was a bit nervous but did a great job! He was so proud to get his gold belt. He was invited to test several times over the past few months but we decided to wait until we saw good behavior consistently which can be tricky when you are four.

ZOO DAY - GOODBYE TO THE MOSS FAMILY...JULY 2011

We had a fun zoo day with two of Diana's friends from pre-school and Laila and Makai. This was the last day we spent with them before they moved out of state. We were sad to see them go :-(

A group photo of four year olds is pretty comical in my opinion - so cute! One of Davis classmates turned 5 this summer. He was the first one to turn 5 so Davis thought it was so exciting. He is looking forward to turning 5 in October!

SLIP N SLIDE - 7/11

Gwen bought the kids a slip n slide to keep at her house. They had tons of fun over there this summer. Between the slip and slide and the new deck they loved going over there with Gwen and Aunt Karen.

Don't worry Michael was not seriously injured when his children decided to attack him....
